Founder Story
The Little Blazer Company® came to life at a defining moment in my life.
After leaving my fast-paced career when our eldest daughter was born with a physical difference, I instinctively knew I wanted to take time away from work to be fully present with her. That chapter naturally extended as we welcomed our second daughter, Mila & Sofia, shaping not only my role as a mother, but my perspective on the world around me.
It was during this time that something began to take shape. My passion for inclusion and diversity, for celebrating all personalities, differences and backgrounds, came together with my love for innovative design, British craftsmanship, and creating something truly unique. I became deeply conscious not only of what I was bringing into the world as a founder, but also of what I was choosing for my own children to wear: pieces that felt responsible, ethical, and made to last.
Fashion has always been my language, particularly the balance of old and new. A tweed blazer with jeans has long been my personal signature. Yet when I searched for something similar for my daughters, I found a clear and surprising gap. There was not only a lack of colour, character and comfort, but a complete absence of vibrant, contemporary tweeds within the children’s space. The choices felt limited, either overly structured, heavy blazers that children wanted to take off within minutes, or softer, cardigan-like alternatives that lacked any true sense of tailoring or occasion.
There was also a noticeable gender divide. The market seemed to assume that traditional blazers were too masculine to appeal to young girls, something that felt entirely disconnected from my own experience. Alongside this, I saw very little in the way of refined, high-quality detailing, particularly when it came to embroidery, which often felt like an afterthought rather than an elevated design feature.
I knew there was another way.
What began as a focused collection of children’s blazers has since evolved into a growing all-ages offering, with the introduction of our adult blazers, allowing our community to carry this aesthetic and ethos through every stage of life. While blazers remain at the heart of everything we do, we have also begun thoughtfully expanding into complementary pieces through carefully considered collaborations, marking the beginning of The Little Blazer Company® as a broader lifestyle brand.
I set out to create a collection of beautifully crafted blazers that offered a true tailored look with a comfortable, wearable feel, pieces that would be worn and loved, not taken off. By designing our own exclusive cloths, including distinctive, colourful tweeds unique to our brand, and producing end-to-end in the UK, I was able to ensure not only exceptional quality, but a more conscious, sustainable approach. Every decision, from material to make, was rooted in responsibility, durability and integrity.
What emerged is a collection defined by colour, character and comfort. Featherweight, temperature-regulating, and made to move with the wearer, each blazer is designed to transcend seasons, occasions and age. These are heirloom pieces created to last, to be passed down, and to become part of a family’s story.
At its heart, The Little Blazer Company® is about more than a garment. It is about confidence, expression, and rewriting expectations. Creating something that feels both timeless and entirely new. Something inclusive. Something joyful.
Our commitment to championing all personalities, differences and backgrounds extends far beyond our collections. Since our creation, we have proudly partnered with organisations such as The King’s Trust and NSPCC, collaborated with Freya Rose, and taken to the runway at New York Fashion Week to help raise funds for meaningful causes. We are, and always will be, a brand with heart.
The Blazer, reimagined.
